NASCAR CUP SERIES: BACK-TO-BACK WINS FOR CHASE BRISCOE IN THE SOUTHERN 500!

After starting second, Chase Briscoe in his No. 19 Bass Pro Shops Toyota won both stages and led 309 laps on his way to winning the Southern 500 for the second year in succession!

Briscoe won this race last season driving the No. 14 Ford for Stewart-Haas Racing.

Briscoe is now a four time Cup Series winner.

Tyler Reddick finished second after catching Briscoe in the closing 20 laps but just couldn’t find a clean way around.

For Legacy Motor Club, Erik Jones and John Hunter Nemechek finished an outstanding third and fourth with AJ Allmendinger completing the top five in a Kaulig Racing Chevrolet.

What great runs for a few smaller teams.

Connor Zilisch absolutely dominated in Portland but had to retake the lead on the green-white-checkered restart to capture another NASCAR Xfinity Series victory in 2025!

Zilisch, who started on the pole and swept both stages, becomes the youngest driver to reach eight wins in a season in the Xfinity Series. Zilisch has also won six out of the last seven races if you’re counting Parker Kligerman’s win last week at Daytona.

Zilisch has a total of nine victories in only 28 Xfinity Series starts.

William Sawalich placed second for his best result of the year.

Nick Sanchez, Christian Eckes, Austin Hill, Carson Kvapil, Jeb Burton, Austin Green, Blaine Perkins, and Jesse Love completed the top ten results.

INDYCAR SERIES: JOSEF NEWGARDENWINS THE 2025 SEASON FINALE!

After a season to forget, Josef Newgarden took the lead away from Alex Palou with 26 laps to go to win at Nashville Superspeedway in the 2025 IndyCar season finale!

What a victory at his home track. Newgarden was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, where he continues to live.

With Newgarden’s victory, he extends his yearly win streak to 11 straight seasons. This is also the 32nd win of his career.

This years champion, Alex Palou, finished second with Scott McLaughlin passing Kyffin Simpson out of the last turn for third.

Will Power led in this race and was looking at a possible podium finish until a horrific pit stop. Power stalled the car, and then the team couldn’t restart the engine in time before falling a lap down. Turns out, water got into the “buckeye” which caused the delay.

Not the way Power wanted to end the season and possibly end his stint at Team Penske.
