Christopher Bell took the lead away from Kyle Busch in the closing laps of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race and held off a strong charge from William Byron and Tyler Reddick to win for the first time at Circuit of the Americas! 🏁
This is the second straight win for the No. 20 Toyota in 2025 and the 11th victory of his career.
Byron and pole-sitter Tyler Reddick finished a close second and third.
After being spun out on lap one by Ross Chastain, Chase Elliott fought back all day to place in fourth while Kyle Busch, who led the most laps, rounded out the top five.
The young teenage phenom of Connor Zilisch was having a decent stint in his Cup Series debut until his Trackhouse Racing teammate Daniel Suarez spun in front of him towerd the middle of the race. Zilisch had know where to go and clobbered into the No. 99 of Suarez. Unfortunately, that would end the 18-year-old’s day. At the time of the accident, Zilisch was running an impressive 14th, the same spot where he qualified.
