In the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Connor Zilisch went from the pole to the win at COTA after going through a pit road penalty and a spirited battle with his JRM teammate Carson Kvapil!.
This is the second career victory for the 18-year-old from Mooresville, North Carolina, in just his seventh start.
William Byron was the runner-up, followed by Sam Mayer, Austin Hill, Christian Eckes, Jesse Love, Taylor Gray, Ross Chastain, William Sawalich, and Blaine Perkins, completing the top ten.
Kvapil, who was fighting for the win with Zilisch, unfortunately suffered a punctured tire with a couple of laps remaining. He would finish in the 23rd spot.
